Trace, LLC is a Chicago-based managed AI sales-and-marketing agent for residential electrical contractors. This page outlines how we handle the data we touch on your behalf.
Site analytics. We do not run third-party analytics on this site today. If we add Plausible or a privacy-friendly equivalent before launch, this page is updated.
Booking. The “Book a 15-min call” CTA opens Cal.com. Cal.com’s privacy policy governs the booking flow. We only see the name, email, and time you choose to share.
Customer data (operator side). When you become a Trace customer, we operate the agent on your behalf and touch your inbound lead data, your FSM records, and your customer communications under a separate data processing agreement. That agreement is part of the contract you sign at onboarding.
Compliance. The agent enforces TCPA AI-disclosure on every first contact, CAN-SPAM on every email, and Chicago two-party recording disclosure on any call recording (v2 voice). Per-customer consent ledger enforces FCC one-to-one consent (effective 2026-01-27).
SMS and text messaging. If you opt in to text messages from Trace, or from a shop Trace operates the agent on behalf of (by checking a consent box on a contact form, accepting a chat consent prompt, or replying YES to a consent request), you agree to receive texts about your inquiry, appointment scheduling and reminders, estimate and service follow-ups, and occasional review or customer-care messages. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS consent with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing. Your mobile information is used only to send the messages you opted into. Message frequency varies with your activity, typically a few messages per request or appointment. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. We log every consent with its date, source, the number, and the consent text shown.
